The person responsible for supplying a large amount of cocaine to the municipality of Albufeira, a 46-year-old man, was arrested for the alleged practice of a drug trafficking crime, as part of an ongoing investigation, the Judiciary Police announced today.
At the time of arrest, the suspect was carrying 20 grams of cocaine and a firearm, the PJ said.
After a search of his residence, another 22 grams of the same narcotic product were seized, as well as material for weighing, dividing and packaging the drug.
The detainee will be presented to the competent judicial authorities to apply the coercive measures deemed convenient.
