The young talents of national basketball who arrive in Albufeira tomorrow for the Basketball Festival, will gather in front of the city's Sports Pavilion, to give body to a mega Harlem Shake, in honor of the sport's biggest youth event, which runs until Sunday, March 24th.
Upon arrival in Albufeira, around 1000 athletes from 72 regional teams and respective delegations will be received by the Municipality in a festive atmosphere, followed by a parade through Parque da Alfarrobeira to the Pavilion, where the mega event will take place. Harlem Shakeat 17 pm.
From tomorrow until Sunday, March 24th, the Albufeira Sports Pavilions, the Albufeira Basic and Secondary School, the Albufeira Secondary School, the EB 2,3 Francisco Cabrita School and the EB 2,3 Martim Fernandes School will go host nearly 200 games and more than 1300 people, including players, judges, coaches, managers and family members.
The Finals of the different levels are scheduled for the last day, from 10:00 am, at the Sports Pavilion of the Basic and Secondary School (U-14), and from 9:30 am, at the Albufeira Sports Pavilion (U-16), where it will take place also the Closing Ceremony and the Awards Ceremony, at 12:30 pm.
