Steve Harris, bassist and founder of «Iron Maiden», will give the debut concert of his new parallel band, «British Lion», on February 20th, at the headquarters of Moto Clube de Faro.

The band "british lion» will open its 2013 European Tour with this solidarity concert at Moto Clube de Faro, with tickets costing 10 euros and whose revenues revert in full to the Portuguese Red Cross. The next day, Steve Harris' band will be in Porto, at Hard Club.

the concert in Faro was announced by Steve on the Iron Maiden Facebook Page, which has more than 8 million followers worldwide, which is a great advertisement for the Algarve city and its Moto Clube.

On the website of his new band, there is the reason for this concert: «as fans know, the Moto Clube de Faro and Steve Harris have a long history of mutual admiration through mutual friend Manu DaSilva, who sadly died in 2005. It was in his honor that Iron Maiden headlined the 30th Motard Concentration of Faro, in a concert as part of the Final Frontier world tour in 2011».

Steve Harris also expresses his joy for starting this tour through Europe at Moto Clube de Faro, which has “brand new facilities with a capacity of 600 people, and which will be the ideal venue for our first live British Lion concert. We are very happy to donate all the proceeds of this concert to the Red Cross».
