In the middle of the Romantic Month, and because love has no age, the municipality of São Brás de Alportel launches another edition of the Contest “The Most Beautiful Love Letter – Senior Version”, a challenge to all those in love with writing over 55 years old deity.
The “The Most Beautiful Love Letter” Competition – Senior Edition – is an initiative of the City Council of São Brás de Alportel, launched in 2010, to continue previous initiatives promoted by the Dr. Estanco Louro Municipal Library to encourage the practice of writing .
This special edition, aimed at the senior population of the municipality, integrates the initiatives promoted by the Senior University of São Brás de Alportel and aims to expand the offer of leisure activities for this population sector in the municipality, challenging those over 55 to write. of texts of romantic content, in order to stimulate creativity and active experience of this season.
In 2013, the City Council, under the coordination of the Municipal Library, and with the collaboration of the Parish Council, namely through the involvement of the literature discipline of the Senior University of São Brás de Alportel, reissues this initiative, within the scope of the commemorative program “Month Romantic 2013”, which takes place during the month of February, evoking the centuries-old traditions of Saint Valentine.
The 4th edition of this competition challenges all young people over 55 to write a Love Letter, which must be delivered to the Municipal Library, Parish Council or Center for Arts and Crafts, by February 11th. The authors of the most beautiful love letters will be awarded a romantic dinner, among many other surprises…
