The animation and revelry return to the streets of Sagres to celebrate Carnival, on February 10th. The parade of floats and carnival groups is scheduled to start at 15 pm at the headquarters of the Clube Recreativo Infante de Sagres, the organizing body, and will travel part of Avenida Comandante Matoso.
The party continues with Carlos Agapito's ball.
Simultaneously, and for the 3rd consecutive year, the “Sagres 2013 Carnival Parade Contest” will take place, which will award three winners in the categories with car and group on foot, evaluated according to: imagination, creativity, originality of the theme, elaboration and construction of the car/disguises, joy and animation of the group/participants.
The event organized by Clube Recreativo Infante Sagres has the support of the Vila do Bispo City Council and the Sagres Parish Council, and aims to promote and dynamize carnival traditions in the county, encouraging creativity and imagination, as well as the spirit of association among the community.
