Cinema, programs to celebrate Valentine's Day and a flea market are some of the options to occupy your free time this weekend in São Brás de Alportel.
The entertainment in the mountain council begins tonight, with a cinema, a concert and a Gala. At the Cineteatro de São Brás, the film “The Consul of Bordeaux” will be screened tonight, at 21 pm, which tells the life story of Aristides de Sousa Mendes.
At 20 pm, a Gala Dinner with musical entertainment begins at José Belchior Viegas Secondary School to celebrate Valentine's Day. This celebration is also the motto for the musical soiree «Mergulhos Intimistas», which the São-Brasense duo «Fernando Ponte & Alina Correia» will star in at the Covered Municipal Swimming Pools, at 21 pm.
On Saturday morning, the 16th, Sabores de São Valentim invades the Municipal Market with the participation of Doces Pecados, the Piri Piris-Chilly Boy show and even the presentation of romantic soaps, by the artisan Célia Sousa. At the same time, the headquarters of Associação In Loco will host the workshop «Indian Massage to the Head», at 10 am.
For the little ones, Quinta do peral reserves a sweet morning dedicated to homemade jam making.
