The male team from Louletano and the female team from Portinado were the winners of the Swimming Regional Speed Tournament, which took place in the municipal swimming pool of Portimão last weekend (19th and 20th January).
Featured in this competition was the swimmer from Portinado Miguel Nascimento, who won the five individual events in which he participated (50 moth, 50 breaststroke, 50 freestyle, 50 backstroke and 100 styles) and yet another from Portimão, Ariana Nunes, who, in the five races in which he swam, he just wouldn't win the 50 backstroke, which were won by Cátia Martinheira, from Louletano.
Portinado also won the absolute female relay events (4×50 freestyles and 4×50 styles) and the 4×50 male relay.
