The period for submission of works in the «Facume: Festival of Short Films of Faro» is already open and will last until the end of June. Any author of a short film can apply for free, as long as it is spoken or subtitled in Portuguese.
The third edition of the festival promoted by the Association for the Defense and Promotion of the Environmental and Cultural Heritage of Faro «Faro 1540» will take place at the end of August in the Algarve capital, but the selection process for films to be presented begins right away.
This festival is made up of the categories «Animation», «Documentary», «Fiction» and «Videoclip» and short films from all national and foreign citizens will be accepted. Jobs are subject to pre-selection.
The selected works will be exhibited and evaluated by a Jury composed of 3 elements. During the festival, the public present at the different sessions will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite short films.
To participate, interested parties will only have to fill in the registration form and comply with the regulations, both available on the association's website, and send your work to the organization of the initiative.
