A PCP delegation, including deputy Paulo Sá, elected by the Algarve, met this morning with the mayor of Monchique, to analyze issues related to forests and fires.

The PCP emphasizes that “the tragic forest fire of Tavira/S. Brás de Alportel, last July, made evident the vulnerability of the Algarve mountain range and revealed significant delays in the development of structural prevention, as well as deficiencies in the device for fighting forest fires».
