The Associação Recreativa e Cultural de Músicos is once again organizing a Board Games meeting on December 28, starting at 21 pm, a favorable date to try out any gifts received a few days before, at Christmas. This is already the 22nd edition of this initiative.
The meeting place is, as usual, the headquarters of the association, located next to the CP station, in Faro. Anyone interested can join and bring their own board games.
On the last Thursday of each month, ARCM opens its doors to non-electronic game fans, with the aim of «gathering and promoting interaction between board game players and making this activity known to new players», according to the association.
Despite the name, the existence of a board is not mandatory, and the games can be «only cards, miniatures, Role Playing Game (RPG) and Collectible Card Game (CCG)».
Admission is free and you don't even need to know the rules of all the games, as “there will always be someone willing to explain them”.
