A man suspected of drug trafficking was arrested in flagrante delicto by the Judiciary Police, on Saturday night, on EN 270 near São Brás de Alportel, announced this Monday the Southern Directorate of this police force.
The 61-year-old man had hidden a bag with 200 grams of pure cocaine in the dashboard of his car and was surprised by an operation by the Regional Narcotics Traffic Investigation Section.
The detainee will be present in court to find out what coercion measure he will be subject to.
