The Diocesan Lausperene – permanent adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (a host that, after consecration, becomes the body of Christ) – will once again be held in the Diocese of Algarve, from November 3rd onwards. it lasts until the 16th of that month, taking place as part of the National Seminar Week (11th to 18th November).

With this prayer, which will take place 24 hours a day for two weeks, the diocesan Church unites with the objective of praying for the emergence of priests and other forms of consecrated life (religious life or in secular institutes).

Promoted by the training team of the Seminar of Faro, Lausperene mobilizes the entire Church in the Algarve, with moments of prayer ensured by the parishes that make up the four vicarages, by the Catholic communities, congregations, groups and movements of the diocese.

The Lausperene Diocesano will start at the church of São Brás de Alportel, at 21 pm, with the celebration of the Eucharist, particularly aimed at the participation of the Algarve communities in the lee, which make up the vigararias of Faro and Tavira.

After passing through the various parish communities of the diocese, according to the announced program (which is attached) which provides for an itinerary distributed by the vicarages of Faro, Tavira, Portimão and Loulé, the Lausperene will end with a vigil at the Albufeira church, at 21 pm, open again to the entire Algarve Church, but particularly aimed at the vicarages in the windward: Loulé and Portimão.
