The conference «Business Angels: investors in countercycle», part of the national roadshow of investors and entrepreneurs who believe in a future beyond the crisis, is scheduled for this Monday, the 19th, at 18 pm, in the auditorium of the University Campus of Portimão of Portimão.
The conference is part of the initiative that annually the FNABA (National Federation of Business Angels Associations) promotes under the name of SNBA (National Business Angels Week).
This initiative is nationwide, with several actions and events over the course of a week in order to publicize the potential of private investors (Business Angels), as enablers for the emergence of new startups.
This year, SNBA (whose edition is now the 6th) will pass through Coimbra, Covilhã, Évora, Guimarães, Lisbon/Cascais, Marinha Grande, Portimão, Santarém and Viseu between November 19th and 23rd, closing in Porto on the 23rd with the holding of the 2nd National Congress of Business Angels.
Among some of the speakers already confirmed for the event in Portimão, Francisco Banha (president of FNABA) and Paulo Andrez (president of the European Business Angels Network – EBAN) stand out.
There will still be three elevator pitches, which are presentations of business ideas by entrepreneurs to investors attending the event.
