The Professional Insertion Office of the Municipality of Tavira, the Employment and Vocational Training Center of Vila Real de Santo António (IEFP) and the Association of Commerce and Services of the Algarve Region (ACRAL), will hold a session to publicize measures of support for hiring, on October 26th, at 17 pm, in the Salão Nobre of the Parish Council of Santiago.
The various programs available at the IEFP will be presented, namely, Impulso Jovem, Professional Internships, Employment-Insertion Contract, Estímulo 2012, with special emphasis on the “Training-Algarve” program.
This is a measure that aims to combat the seasonality of employment in the Algarve region, by supporting the hiring and maintenance of jobs, providing for the promotion of a training program for workers in activities related to hotels, restaurants, tourism, commerce and construction.
The session is aimed at the general public and especially at employers interested in knowing the incentives for hiring the unemployed: companies, private and non-profit institutions, including institutions within the social economy, cultural, recreational, sports associations, youth and federations, as well as technicians who may be interested in the subject within the scope of their professional activity.
