Birds will be the theme of the free activities promoted by the Centro Ciência Viva de Lagos over the next two Saturdays. So, on October 20, at 15 pm, biologist Filipe Bally Jorge will talk about «Aves – A fascinating world to discover», within the scope of the «Science to Conversation» initiative.

The birds of the Algarve, knowing how to identify them and where and how to observe them will be the themes of this conversation.

On the following Saturday, October 27th, ornithologist Filipe Bally Jorge will lead a short bird-watching walk on the west bank of the Ria de Alvor, in the Vale de Lama area.

The Ria de Alvor is the most important wetland in the Western Algarve and a place where numerous species of birds pass through during the autumn migration.

This walk is free, but registration must be made by calling 282 770 000.
