The Performing Arts will be the focus of the fifth session of the «Travessas de Cultura», which will take place on Thursday, the 25th, at the Casa da Juventude de Olhão (in the Municipal Library building), at 18 pm. The guest speakers for this debate are Luís Vicente, José Laginha and Úrsula Mestre.
This is an initiative organized by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and the University of the Algarve whose objective is to reflect on cultural life in the region. After the edition dedicated to the performing arts, two more debates will be promoted, one dedicated to the theme «Cinema, Video and Software», to take place at TEMPO, in Portimão, on 29 November and the last dedicated to the theme «Industrial Design Craftsmanship », at the Arts and Crafts Center of São Brás de Alportel, on January 24, 2013.
Since April, once a month, with a break in July and August, the topics “Creative Economy” were debated (Faro), «Music Edition» (Faro), “Radio and Television” (Loulé) and “Book Edition” (Tavira).
