The meetings are held within the scope of the TransEBT cross-border cooperation project «aimed at creating conditions for the transfer of technology between Technological Centers, Research Groups (Universities) and companies on both sides of the border, with support institutional framework of a network of public and associative Entities that will support the creation of technology-based companies in the provinces of Algarve and Andalusia». A good example of this cooperation was the TransEBT Ideas Contest, where several seeds of businesses to be created on both sides of the border were born.
