A concert by Dead Combo, the duo of musicians Tó Trips and Pedro Gonçalves, presenting their latest work Lisboa Mulata, opens the October program of Teatro das Figuras, in Faroon the 6th.
Formed in 2003, the group has released five albums, three of which have been awarded “Album do Ano” and “Album da Década” in Portugal.

On the 13th, the Algarve Dance Company celebrates its eighth anniversary, with the Gala Terpsicore, which has the presence of principal dancers and soloists from various European companies.
From 16 to 21, the highlight goes to the cinema, with the presentation of the 13th French Film Festival, an organization of the Institut Français du Portugal with the collaboration of the Alliance Française de l'Algarve, which brings the Faro the best and most recent productions in France, in a celebration of French cinema, its vitality and its diversity.
The Coral Ossónoba will present, on the 27th, the solidarity gala O Sonho da Música II, with the special participation of the baritone Rui Baeta and the soprano Catarina Molder, who will perform well-known opera arias. The second part of the show is fully filled with pieces from the
Musical West Side Story, by Leonard Bernstein.
