The Orquestra do Algarve heads to Guimarães, on the 7th of September, to perform at the Vila Flor Cultural Center, as part of the celebrations of the European Cultural Capital in this city.

Haydn, Mozart and Schubert are the three great composers of the XNUMXth century who will be celebrated in this concert, directed by Pedro Neves, Principal Conductor of the OA.

Soloist Todd Sheldrick, main horn in this orchestra, will brighten up the Concert #4 in E flat major, by Mozart, with the public also having the opportunity to watch the interpretation of the Symphony No. 6 of Haydn, also known as The Morning, and the homonymous Schubert, who uses Beethoven and the Italian influence as references in this work.

This concert marks the end of the 10th Season of Orquestra do Algarve, entering the holiday season. During this period, OA will prepare the new season, returning to the stage in mid-October.
