The Municipal Auditorium of Olhão will host the Fado Vadio contest on August 31st and September 8th. The competition organized by Sporting Clube Olhanense has a new house, but will remain faithful to itself in this 20th edition.
The contest will have ten participants, chosen from among the candidates who sent models to the organization, and two qualifiers. «In the two shows scheduled for the Auditório Olhão, the artists, who may or may not have edited records, will have to interpret three themes in front of the public. The jury, made up of five elements from the world of music and the direction of the SCO, will evaluate the performance», revealed the Chamber of Olhão, in a statement.
«The evaluation criteria will be, at random, originality and creativity, presence on stage, interactivity with the audience and technical execution. The winner wins, among other prizes, the right to participate in the 2013 edition of Fado Vadio, as well as a trophy and a monetary prize of 250 euros”, added the municipality. Winners will be announced on September 8th.
