Loulé will host another edition of the Popular Fair between the 18th and 22nd of July, at Largo do Tribunal. During the event, the Câmara de Loulé, which organizes the event, will commemorate the 21st anniversary of the Loulé Crafts Fair.
The Feira Popular de Loulé is a recreation of the festival that animated the city in the 40s and 50s of the last century, held at Quinta do Pombal, where the Municipal Park of Loulé is now located. There will be no shortage of entertainment, especially for the younger ones, the main target audience of the party.
«A children's carousel, traditional games, a children's entertainment tent and inflatables are some of the fun proposals for these days. Another of the spaces recreated in the enclosure will be an open-air cinema, with the projection of the great Portuguese classics, as well as a children's and youth cinema», revealed the Câmara de Loulé in a press release.
Even so, there are many components aimed at adults, «such as the exhibition and sale of handicrafts and agri-food products, musical entertainment and traditional taverns with typical Algarve flavors».
«Music will be another aspect that will liven up the venue these days. In addition to popular music, in this context, the Rancho Folclórica Infantil e Juvenil de Loulé reissues the Folklore Festival, which aims to mark the group's 35th anniversary. This year, the Rancho also promotes a workshop for those interested who want to learn a little “Corridinho” or “Dance Ball”, added the organization. The fair will be open every day between 20 and 24 hours and admission is free.
