The São Lourenço Cultural Center will once again open its doors to the public to receive the collective exhibition of painting and sculpture «Galeria São Mamede in São Lourenço», whose inauguration is scheduled for next Saturday, at 20 pm.

It is an exhibition that marks the beginning of a collaboration between the Lisbon gallery and the Algarve cultural space, which a few months ago had been closed by the previous promoters and owners of the space.

Second revealed to Sul Informação Francisco Pereira Coutinho, owner of Galeria São Mamede, in Lisbon, this structure made «an agreement with the center, to make a temporary experience».

"We are going to manage the programming of the São Lourenço Cultural Center for the next four months and then we will assess whether we continue", revealed the head of the Lisbon art gallery. The agreement is in effect "until the end of October".

The first fruit of this partnership can be enjoyed from the end of this week until August 31st. Ana Maria, Ana Pais de Oliveira, Ana Sério, Armando Alves, Catarina Pinto Leite, Cristina Guise, Cruzeiro Seixas, Deolinda Fonseca, Evelina Oliveira, Gil Maia, Gonzalez Bravo, Guilherme Parente, Hector Ramsay, Jean-Pierre Porcher, João Cutileiro, João Cristóvão, João Vieira, Luzia Lage, Matthias Contzen, Nadir Afonso, Nélio Saltão, Nuno Santiago, Paulo Serra, Pedro Figueiredo, Rodrigo Ferreira, Shintaro Nakaoka, Sofia Areal and Vítor Ribeiro are some of the artists represented in the show.
