The Vila do Bispo City Council is going to promote two routes, one pedestrian and one mountain biking, on the next 9th and 10th of June, as part of the World Environment Day Celebrations.
On the first day, at 9:00 am, there will be a walking tour called “The passage of Dinosaurs through the municipality”, which will take place between the beaches of Salema and Figueira, in the parish of Budens. This initiative aims to disseminate among participants the paleontological, geological/geomorphological and biological heritage of that area.
For the second day, at 10:00 am, a mountain biking route (tour) between Vila do Bispo and Cabo de S. Vicente is scheduled, which aims to promote the municipality as a sustainable tourism destination.
On this tour, participants will have the opportunity to observe the fauna and flora along the route, the landscapes and the various geological formations.
Aimed at all interested parties over the age of 12, participation in these activities is limited, subject to booking at the City Council's Environment and Services Division until June 6, in person or by calling 282 630 600.
