The architect Porfírio Maia will close next Saturday, June 23, the 1st cycle of debates "City and Urban Landscape" with an intervention on this theme to take place at the Livraria Bar Pátio de Letras, in Faro, at 18 hours.

This is the last of six debates that have taken place in this space in recent months. The cycle of debates was promoted by journalist Viegas Gomes, in partnership with the cultural space that hosted the different sessions, and began on January 29 with the presentation of the booklet that he himself wrote «Faro – Change is Possible».

Since then, every month there has been a session of this cycle and the lecturers at the University of the Algarve António Covas (February), the specialist in Administration and Regional Development Miguel Madeira (March), the deputy to the Assembly of the Republic Cristóvão Norte (April) and sociologist Nelson Dias (May). A session with landscape architect Fernando Pessoa was even scheduled for the beginning of June, which was cancelled.
