The Institute of Employment and Professional Training (IEFP) of Lagos held, this Wednesday, June 13, at the Main Hall of Vila do Bispo, an awareness-raising session for the promotion of integration measures in the labor market in the county.
The Professional Internships program and the Measure “Estímulo 2012” – Fight against Unemployment were the projects presented during the session, which was attended by some employers in the municipality.
The Professional Internship program has been in force since 1998. As for Combating Unemployment – Measure “Estímulo 2012” approved by Ordinance No. 45/2012, aims to support the hiring of unemployed people, promote and increase their employability, through professional training .
This measure is aimed at the most vulnerable unemployment, that is, those registered at the Job Centers for at least 6 months.
This session aimed to inform employers in the municipality of existing IFP programs and also how to access these projects and thus facilitate job creation in the municipality.
