The young fado singer Cuca Roseta, one of the most prestigious and acclaimed voices of the new generation of fado, takes the stage at the Centro Cultural de Lagos, on May 18, at 21:30 pm.
His self-titled debut album, released last year, was produced by Gustavo Santaolalla, a prestigious producer who has won several Grammys and two Hollywood Oscars. Such distinction and recognition is only justified by Cuca Roseta's enormous talent and by her incredible voice and delivery.
Just in the last year, Cuca Roseta has participated in the most important festivals in Portugal – CoolJazz Fest or Festival Sudoeste – also covering the most recognized national and international stages, always with sold out rooms, always with memorable concerts.
This time the fado singer comes to Lagos to taste everything that is said about herself, in a particular opportunity to celebrate Fado as a World Heritage Site. “It's a privilege to be able to receive Cuca Roseta live. Listening to Cuca Roseta is listening to the rarest truth of fado. A truth that has to be heard, it is so rare!”
Tickets for the show are on sale at the Centro Cultural de Lagos (CCL), and cost 8 euros, with discounts available for young cardholders, children under 12, people aged 65 or over and cardholders. via verde, for whom the ticket will cost 5 euros.
