Teresa Ventura, from Chaves, won the 13th edition of the Fado Contest in the Municipality of Vila do Bispo, which took place on the 26th of May at the Recreation Society of Barão de São Miguel.
With the interpretations “Perseguição” and “Spring”, Teresa Ventura enchanted and won over the approximately 700 people present at the event.
The fado singer took home a prize money of 500 euros, also received a weekend for two people at Aldeia da Pedralva Turismo de Aldeia and a boat trip for two people to the village. Farol from S. Vicente, a Cape Cruise offer.
For Teresa Ventura, participating in fado competitions means, regardless of whether she wins or not, a way to make herself known and show her fado skills.
