At the end of March, the Algarvean Samuel Caldeira (Carmim-Prio-Tavira) assumed the command of the APCP Ranking, an initiative of the Portuguese Association of Professional Cyclists, under the aegis of the Portuguese Cycling Federation.

The sprinter from Tavira's team, who was third the previous month, rose to first place, thanks to the regularity patented in the Volta ao Alentejo and in the Volta à Terras de Santa Maria – Fernando Mendes Trophy. Samuel Caldeira has 315 points, 163 more than second-placed Filipe Cardoso (Efapel-Glassdrive), who has 152 points. The third is José Mendes (LA-Antarte) with 140.

The collective table is now led by LA-Atarte, which currently has 405 points. Only 14 in difference is Carmim-Prio-Tavira. Efapel-Glassdrive follows, at a distance of 208 points.
César Fonte (Efapel) continues to be the runner most voted by the peloton as the best team worker.
