The public presentation session of the bridge project, accesses and parking for Praia de Faro will take place on the 12th of April, at 10:00 am, in the Main Hall of the City Hall of Faro.
The session will be jointly promoted by the City Council of Faro and by the Polis Litoral Ria Formosa Society.
Its objective will be to inform public entities in the sector, associations representing the interests of the island and the general public about the contents of the draft, in order to gather relevant suggestions, with a view to preparing the implementation project.
The design team responsible for developing the project is Bruno Rocha, Engenharia Unipessoal, Lda., supported by EPCA – Estudos, Projetos e Consultoria Ambiental, Lda.
This project is part of the strategic action plan for the requalification and enhancement of the Ria Formosa and aims to create a new access bridge to Praia de Faro, upgrading road access and creating an outdoor car park, promoting an improvement in urban mobility and creating conditions for pedestrian and cycling use.
