The Dr. Jorge Augusto Correia Secondary School, in Tavira, through the Human Debate for Alert (Dhuda) movement, promotes an afternoon dedicated to Fado on Sunday, March 18, at 17 pm, at Clube de Tavira.
Fado singers Sara Gonçalves, Aurora Gonçalves, Inês Graça, Pedro Viola, Virgílio Lança and Miguel Drago will participate. A representative of the Fado Museum in Lisbon will also be present.
This initiative aims to celebrate Fado as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity, sharing this declaration with the Tavirense community, as well as simultaneously raising (for a symbolic entry price) a working capital allowance to help support some students from school.
