Portimonense shows signs of recovery. After almost four months without winning for the Liga Orangina, Lázaro Oliveira's team defeated Sp. Covilhã last week and, this Sunday, they repeated the result, away from home, against Arouca.
Without yet a definitive decision regarding the descents in this season, and the expansion in the next, Portimonense begins to show signs of being able to reach salvation without being in the secretariat. The Algarve team managed, for the second consecutive week, to turn around an unfavorable result, and left Arouca with a 2-1 victory that leaves the Alvinegros 5 points from the waterline.
In this Sunday's match, the 1-0 came on the 22nd minute, through Bruninho, a result that remained until the break.
In the second half, Portimonense tried to reverse the course of events and succeeded. First it was Eridson who, in the 68th minute, took advantage of the confusion in the area to score with his chest.
Six minutes later, it was Simmy's turn, who had jumped off the bench, to put Portimonense ahead, fixing the final result.
Portimonense maintains the last place in the league table, but has shortened the distance to 14th place, the first position that guarantees the permanence in Liga Orangina).
