The Guarda Nacional Republicana announced that it will reinforce, between March 29 and April 1, in the Algarve region, patrolling in the access roads and show areas of the Vodafone Rally de Portugal 2012.

About 600 soldiers from the Territorial Commands of Beja and Faro will guarantee safety during the special tests in Gomes Aires, Santa Clara, Ourique, Tavira, Alcarias, São Brás de Alportel, Almodôvar, Vascão, Loulé, Silves, Santana and Sambro.

Asserting itself “aware of the strong enthusiasm of national and foreign fans”, Guarda reveals that it will be “particularly attentive to the behavior of all drivers and spectators – control of entrances and exits in the show zones; surveillance of off-limits areas to the public; circulation on restricted and/or restricted roads; among others – in order to ensure that the test takes place within the internationally recognized safety parameters».

All information about the best access routes to the Vodafone Rally de Portugal 2012 can be found on the official website of the Rally.
