Andrej Martin was the winner of the Future 2 Tournament of Faro, in tennis, after last Sunday beating Daniel Smethurst in the final. The 22-year-old Slovakian tennis player and 407th in the ATP ranking did not have great difficulties and beat English Smethurst in the decisive match by partial 6-2/ 6-2.

The tournament, organized by the Tennis Center of Faro, was the second consecutive of two in the "Future" category that took place in Faro in the last two weeks and gathered in the region several hundred players, from more than 30 countries, having distributed a total of 20 thousand dollars in prize money. In pairs, the triumph on the 21st Faro Future went to the pair Andrej Martin and Adrian Sikora, who beat Bolivians Hugo Dellien and Frederico Zeballos 6-1/ 6-2.

After two Future tournaments in Faro, the Clube Ténis de Loulé has been hosting another tournament of the same category since last Saturday. The final is scheduled for Sunday, March 18th.
