«Luso-Danish Words and Colors» is the name of the meeting that will bring together António Torrado and Niels Fischer next Saturday, February 4th, at 15 pm, at the Municipal Library of Silves.

Promoted by the Municipality of Silves, this is the last of the initiatives programmed under the exhibition about Hans Christian Andersen, which will be on display, until the end of February, at the House of Islamic and Mediterranean Culture in Silves.

“Andersen in dashed and full” and “Hans Christian Andersen for all people of all ages” are the central themes that will mark this meeting, according to the eyes of Portuguese writer António Torrado and exhibition curator Niels Fischer.

On this day there will also be a place for the delivery of the prizes of the Hans Christian Andersen Artistic Contest launched by the City of Silves, whose works can be appreciated on the same day in the Urbano Tavares Rodrigues room or, starting on Monday, in the Casa da Islamic Culture.

A Hans Christian Andersen exhibition, patent in Silves since November 2011, will pass through more than three dozen Portuguese locations, and has the high sponsorship of the Royal Danish Embassy, ​​National Commission of UNESCO, Portuguese Committee of UNICEF, National Library of Portugal and The Children's Museum in Portugal.

– House of Islamic and Mediterranean Culture – Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 18:00 pm
