As part of the Thematic Cycle for Parents, promoted by the Municipality of Silves (CMS), the action “The development of your child” will take place on October 26th, at the Armação de Pêra Group of Schools.
The session, aimed at parents of children aged between 2 and 10, is scheduled to start at 18 pm and will be repeated on 2 and 9 November at the SB Messines and Algoz School Groups, respectively.
Present the child's behavioral and emotional development map (in the areas of play, language, sleep, food, temperament, learning, moral development, needs control, among others), help parents understand the mechanisms that contribute to problematic behavior and to distinguish between normal variations in behavior and problems that require specialized help; as well as opening a space for discussion of problem solving strategies are the main objectives of this session.
Participation in this cycle is limited to 20 participants per session and subject to prior registration, which must be made until the seventh day prior to the date of its realization.
“Parental Educational Styles” will be the second theme to be carried out under this cycle, with actions scheduled for November 23 (AE Armação de Pêra), November 30 (AE SB Messines) and December 5 (AE Algoz).
