“Uádi-Ana – Baixo Guadiana Tourism Business Association” will elect, on September 22, its governing bodies.

Founded on 9 August, “Wádi Ana” is headquartered in Alcoutim and covers the municipalities of Mértola, Alcoutim, Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António.

This association was born in the “Jornadas Empresariais do Baixo Guadiana”, an organization of the Odiana Association, which intended to address culture and business associations in the current crisis environment.

According to the Installation Committee of “Wádi Ana”, the association's mission is to study and defend the interests of tourism activities in Baixo Guadiana, in order to promote and practice everything that can contribute to its technical, economic and/or social progress .

"A greater representation of those responsible for tourism in the Baixo Guadiana region, for the consequent presentation of proposals, specifically of a touristic nature, thus creating a bridge with all sectors that are engines of tourism in themselves" is what this association expects from entrepreneurs regional.

Lists competing with the governing bodies can be delivered by 15:00 pm on September 22, via email [email protected] or to: Uádi Ana – Baixo Guadiana Tourism Business Association, R. de Timor, Municipal Market Building, 8970-064 Alcoutim (with CTT stamp date of September 19, 2011, by registered letter).
