The Algarve International Collectibles Fair will take place on the 3rd and 4th of September, Saturday and Sunday, at the Pavilhão Multiusos in the Municipal Park of Fairs and Exhibitions of Lagoa (Fatacil).
The objective of this event is to promote the meeting and interaction between fans of the various forms of collecting, so that they can exchange ideas among themselves, show, sell and exchange objects that come together over time, «how often just for the mere impulse of joining things you like or because you find them interesting and sometimes unique and that, from one moment to the next, become part of collections».
The Fair is organized by AFAL – Philatelic Association Alentejo Algarve and the Philately Section of the Lions Clube de Portimão, with the support of the Lagoa City Council, Portuguese Federation of Philately and CTT – Correios de Portugal.
