The Qvarnstensgruvan Museum is housed in an old quarry (mine) for extracting limestone to manufacture grinding wheels for mills.
Rehearsals take place on Thursdays, between 18:30 and 20:30
The exhibition is composed of photographs, texts, objects and sounds that refer to «the endless struggle of this people for their freedom and self-determination»
The lectures are promoted by the Archaeological Association of the Algarve
Museologist of the Year Award hailed by the Municipality
Researcher now resides in the Algarve, after his retirement
Museu de São Brás has overcome a difficult phase, namely in the relationship between its direction and the Santa Casa da Misericórdia
Movement considers that the museum occupies, in the national panorama, "a prominent place"
