Olhão fishing port already has LED lighting

The intervention is part of Docapesca's energy efficiency improvement plan

Docapesca renewed public lighting in the fishing port of Olhão, investing around 40 thousand euros in replacing the 24 columns and luminaires on the three quay bridges, which now have LED technology.

According to Docapesca, "the new metal columns have a height of five meters and the luminaires are now LED and were equipped with a protection element against birds consisting of stainless steel spikes."

These interventions "are part of the energy efficiency improvement plan that Docapesca has been implementing in several fishing ports managed by the company, which has already translated into a 49% reduction in installed capacity", adds the company.
