Louletano and Moncarapachense returned to winning ways in Series D of the Portuguese Championship and got closer to the top of the table after the previous leader's defeat, in a 9th round in which Lagoa drew away from home.
At the Estádio Algarve, the team from Loulé thrashed Moura 4-0, on a special afternoon for attacking midfielder João Bandeira, who scored a hat-trick in the 4th, 25th and 87th minutes, with Leandro Ferreira completing the result in the 67th.
The Loulé team, which had suffered two consecutive defeats, is in 5th place, with 17 points, three behind Serpa, the new “commander” of the competition’s Series D, tied on points with Sintrense.
Just below comes Moncarapachense, 6th, with 16, after adding another home victory, inflicting the first defeat of the season on Lusitano de Évora (1-0), thanks to the solitary goal by Diogo Motty, after just 11 minutes.
Lagoa remain in 7th place, with 12 points, after drawing 1-1 away with Estrela da Amadora B. Pedro Duarte put the Algarve team ahead in the 49th minute and Caio Santana levelled the scores in the 70th.
The Portuguese Championship returns now at the end of the month, with the 10th round, on November 30th, which includes the Serpa-Louletano, Operário-Moncarapachense and Lagoa-Barreirense matches.
