From Monday, November 4th, Loulé City Council will accept applications for the supported rental of 117 houses in different parts of the municipality. Interested parties can register until December 6th.
The vast majority of the properties included in the competition now launched, a total of 100, are located in the city of Loulé. Houses will also be rented in Quarteira (3), Almancil (2) and Salir (12). There are one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom properties.
“This competition – the second under the supported scheme – aims to allocate housing intended for the permanent residence of eligible individuals and households. Households or citizens (nationals or, if foreign, who have a certificate of registration as a Community citizen or a valid residence permit in the national territory) who live in undignified conditions and are in a situation of financial hardship are entitled to access housing financed with public support granted under the 1st Right Programme”, according to Loulé Council.
The houses in the competition “will be drawn from among the eligible applications for this competition, based on the stipulated prioritization criteria. The draw will be a public event, organized by the Loulé City Council, and will take place on a date, place and time to be designated, by a jury to be appointed”.
Applications can be submitted to the following offices: Loulé – Travessa de São Pedro; Almancil – Rua Manuel dos Santos Vaquinhas, Lote 53, Loja B; Quarteira – Quarteira Municipal Centre – Rua Vasco da Gama.
