Manuela Bernardo’s “Emotions” are on display in Portimão

Artist Manuela Bernardo was born in Portimão

The painting exhibition “Emotions”, by Manuela Bernardo, is on display until December 6th at EMARP – Portimão Municipal Water and Waste Company.

The exhibition, composed of fourteen works, expresses the emotions that touch the soul through the gaze and posture of the female figure, as well as inspiring landscapes.

The “Emotions” exhibition seeks to awaken deep feelings in those who contemplate it, evoking the inner strength of each being.

After a long period without creating, the artist was driven by something within her to return to the canvas and to the exercise of creation. And it is from this reconnection with art that this exhibition was born.

Artist Manuela Bernardo was born in Portimão. Daughter of painter and photographer Júlio Bernardo, she spent her childhood and youth surrounded by creativity, colors and fantasy, developing her taste for the fantastic. She embraced painting, which she combines with writing and her work as a therapist. She has held several solo and group exhibitions.

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 17:00 pm, in the EMARP Public Service area.
