The Language Fair will take place this Thursday, September 26th, at Marquês de Pombal Square, in Vila Real de Santo António.
There will be two timetables: from 9:30 am to 15:00 pm for schools and colleges (all cycles) and from 15:00 pm to 20:00 pm for everyone.
This year's edition invites you to discover the Eurocity of Guadiana, celebrating the Europe of regions and the Portuguese and Castilian languages.
There will be poetry, dance, music, exhibitions, educational games, story time, readings, cinema, all in a multicultural and diverse environment where languages connect.
The mentoring of this project has been, since its beginning in 2021, by Professor Manuel Célio Conceição, from the University of Algarve, who moderates the Tertúlia Línguas e Fronteiras, at 17 pm.
The European Day of Languages is celebrated annually on 26 September throughout the European Union. It is a celebration of European values, especially diversity, inclusion and solidarity.
