“People and Customs” are on display at EMARP

Thirteen works by visual artist Ana Nobre

“People and Customs” is the name of the painting exhibition by Ana Nobre, which is on display until 11 October, in the lobby of the Portimão Municipal Water and Waste Company (EMARP).

The exhibition of thirteen works “offers an expressive social critique, which reflects the complexity of modern society through the use of vibrant colors and dynamic movements”, highlights EMARP.

The artist «uses loose and quick brushstrokes, conveying an authentic emotional expression and capturing the essence of the subjects portrayed».

Ana Nobre, born in 1979 in Lisbon, is a visual artist who graduated in Visual Arts/Painting from ESAD in 2005 and completed the Graphic Design course at ETIC Algarve in 2019.

His artistic style, defined as Contemporary Post-Impressionism, has been featured in several international publications and won awards in several competitions.

The artist has also been distinguished in national and international exhibitions for the social and emotional criticism of her works.

The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 17:00 pm, in the EMARP public service area.
