The Ferreiras women's senior team will officially start the 2024/25 season at Sintrense's home ground, in a first round match of the Portuguese Cup, as determined by the draw held this Wednesday, at Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras.

The match between the Algarve team and the team from Sintra, both playing in the National Division III, is scheduled for September 22nd, at the Carreirinha Sports Park, in the town of Terrugem.

The draw involved 54 teams, the 20 that qualified from the qualifying round plus the 34 clubs that were exempt from that stage of the competition. Olhanense 1912 fell in the qualifying round, while the Guide only comes into action in the following round.

For the new season, the club from the municipality of Albufeira has already announced the signings of defender Beatriz Faleiro (ex-Ourique), midfielders Lara Cabrita (ex-Portimonense) and Maria Correia (ex-Esp. Lagos) and forwards Lara Cunha (ex-Lagoenses, futsal) and Margarida Silva (ex-Torreense).

In the third national tier, in which it is integrated in Series N, with Olhanense 1912, Ferreiras is scheduled to start on September 29, at the Setúbal Women's Football School ground.
