Two Algarve restaurants distinguished by Wine Spectator magazine

One of them receives the distinction for the fourth year

Pepper's Steakhouse, in Vilamoura, and The One Restaurant, in Carvoeiro, were distinguished by the American magazine Wine Spectator.

Pepper's Steakhouse, located at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, won the “Award of Excellence” for the first time, while The One Restaurant, located at Tivoli Carvoeiro, received the award for the fourth time.

Regarding Pepper's Steakhouse, the international magazine highlights that "this is a significant milestone, as it confirms the quality of its impressive wine collection."

The restaurant offers a wine experience through its “Wine Book”, which presents a selection of Portuguese wines organized by region, brand, grape variety, harvest year, price and recognition.

The wine and food journey begins in the Algarve and extends to all of Portugal's wine regions, including the Douro Valley, as well as international wines, sparkling wines and champagnes.

With an inventory of almost 300 wine references and more than 4 thousand bottles in stock, Pepper's Steakhouse also stands out for the packaging of the bottles.

The recognition of The One Restaurant for the fourth year “reinforces its reputation for excellence”, with the restaurant having been awarded the “Award of Excellence” in 2020, 2022, 2023 and now in 2024.

Its wine list stands out for the priority given to producers from the Algarve region.

Wine Spectator magazine's awards recognize and distinguish wine lists for the variety and quality of the suggestions presented, for the harmony between the wine selection and the menu, and also for the quality-price ratio.

Excellence Award-winning restaurants offer at least 90 wine selections.
