Azeitonas, David Antunes and DJ Kura liven up New Year's Eve in Quarteira

The initiatives start on December 28th

Azeitonas, David Antunes and DJ Kura are the musical bets for New Year's Eve in Quarteira, announced this Tuesday, September 17, the Municipality of Loulé.

Once again, the program extends over four days and aims to “provide a point of attraction for those who are in the region at this time of year”.

Sport will mark the start of the festivities, on December 28th, with the holding of another São Silvestre Race in Quarteira.

The starting point will be at Passeio das Dunas for the 5 or 10 kilometer routes, and at the end, you can enjoy a moment of socializing with bolo-rei and hot tea.

On the 29th, music will invade Passeio das Dunas, and to “warm up the night” there will be DJ Martek and Switha Band.

Next comes the “Para Sempre Marco” project, in which Marco Paulo’s songs will be revisited, with the participation of special guests, and, to close, the DJ duo from Faro made up of Eliseu Correia and Justino Santos, – Bubba Brothers.

The night of December 30th will be animated by DJ Nuno Silva, by the Insert Coin project with the best of music from the 90s and early 2000s, and by the Porto pop rock band, Azeitonas, who will bring songs such as “Quem És Tu Miúda” or “Anda Comigo Ver os Aviões”.

The highlight of this New Year's Eve celebration will be on the evening of December 31st. The party will start before midnight with DJ Fresh P and David Antunes & The Midnight Band. After the fireworks display, DJ Kura will take to the stage.

Quarteira New Year's Eve is organized by the Municipality of Loulé, with the support of the Quarteira Parish Council, and involves the city's traders.

All initiatives are free entry.
