The Afro Nation festival has already announced the date for what will be its fifth edition in Praia da Rocha: 9 to 11 July. In other words, more than a week later than the usual dates, at the end of June.
In a post on the social network Instagram, those responsible for Afro Nation commented: «Did people think we wouldn't be back in Portugal next year? The dates for ANP2025 are officially here! Imagine not being back on the beach for the biggest Afrobeats celebration in the world?! Impossible!»
The same publication warns that the pre-sale of tickets will take place on October 2nd, while normal sales will begin on the 3rd.

At the 2024 edition of Afro Nation, which took place from June 26 to 28, the headliners were Nicki Minaj, J Hus, Asake and Rema.
The line-up of artists for the 5th edition of the festival has not yet been announced.
Tickets for this festival are usually sold for all three days, although this year, due to high demand, the organization has made daily tickets available for June 27th.
Tickets for the three days of the festival cost 349 euros in this year's edition.
In 2024, the Afro Nation festival attracted more than 40 people to the Algarve, coming from all over Europe and even from countries on other continents, such as the United States of America, guaranteeing high hotel occupancy rates at a time when the peak tourist season has not yet begun.
However, the festival also causes complaints from residents and tourists, both from Praia da Rocha itself and from Ferragudo, due to the noise.
