Secretary of State for Tourism visited AHETA

There was «an open channel of cooperation between both parties» guarantee Algarve hoteliers

The renovation and rehabilitation of hotel units, sustainability and desalination plants were the main topics covered in the working meeting that Pedro Machado, Secretary of State for Tourism, held last week with the social bodies of the Algarve Hotels and Tourist Enterprises Association (Associação de Hotelis e Empreendimentos Turísticos do Algarve (Association of Hotels and Tourist Enterprises of the Algarve) AHETA).

The Secretary of State also had the opportunity to visit, on site, hotel units under construction with high levels of sustainability, both water and energy, namely the future the “Hotel do Castelo”, under construction by the family group Algarveresorts, and discuss the topic of using desalination plants in tourist developments.

«Forms of future work were thus established between the association and the person responsible for supervision, leaving an open channel of cooperation between both parties», highlights AHETA in a press release.
