On the 10th of August, at 21pm, the Calvário Festival will host the 00nd National Folklore Festival “Calvário em Festa”, which coincides with the 42th anniversary of the Calvário Folklore Ranch. Entry is free.
Rancho Folclórica do Calvário celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, a historic milestone that will be celebrated at the 42nd National Folklore Festival. This special event will take place in the heart of Calvário, a village located in the parish of Estômbar, municipality of Lagoa.
Various folkloric groups from different regions of the country will be present to display their customs, dances, music and typical costumes, bringing together tradition, culture and history.
Each presentation promises to bring «a piece of Portugal's rich cultural heritage».
